Paul von Zorich first began metal detecting as a hobby back in 1991, which soon turned to professional gold prospecting spanning many years. Accompanied by his wife, Brenda, the pair visited many of Western Australia’s most remote goldfields, finding enough gold to continue their search for the elusive Mother Lode. After many years of life on the road, the author pursued a new career in business, but continues to prospect as a hobby during holidays and when time permits.
