CD CATALOGUE FAQ
CD Does Not Work:
The cd catalogue is designed for Windows 95/98, Windows ME, NT, 2000 or XP. It will not work on any other operating systems. At this point in time no other operating systems are supported. In rare cases a faulty CD may be the cause of the problem.
SOLUTION - Return for replacement or for an alternative catalogue.
CD Does Not Auto-start:
The cd catalogue is designed to auto-start after inserting into a CD or DVD-ROM drive provided auto-insert notification is enabled.
SOLUTION-1 To enable auto-insert notification (Windows™ only).
- Double click the "Control Panel".
- Double click "System".
- Select "Device Manager" tab.
- Select "View devices by type" radio button if not already selected.
- Click the + at right hand side of the CDROM to show the list of CD drives available on the computer (usually one).
- Highlight the drive you wish to enable auto-insert notification.
- Select the "Properties" button.
- Select the "Settings" tab and enable auto-insert notification checkbox with a tick.
SOLUTION-2 Boot CD without auto-insert notification enabled.
- Click start.
- Select "Run" and in the dialogue box type "D:\RunMe.exe" where D is the letter assigned to your CD-ROM drive
